Hi! Welcome to Hygge House. I'm your host, Angela.

My journey with Hygge House began in 2006 when I bought the house and lived there full time while taking on small projects here and there.

​

In 2022, I decided to embark on a new chapter and use the house for short term vacation rentals.  My aim was to create a space where guests could experience the true essence of hygge—a Danish concept that embodies coziness, comfort, and a sense of well-being.

​

Now, I am thrilled to share Hygge House with you. This space is great for small family getaways, a couple's vacation, a working retreat (there is dedicated office space), friends reunion, or wedding guest crash pad. 

​

The Rondout Valley has a unique charm that I've come to know and love, and I'm excited to guide you in discovering its hidden gems and countless adventures it offers.
